Welcome to St. Matthew’s Parker
We are so glad you’re here!
love and be loved.
We believe every person is a beloved child of God. God calls us to love first so that the love we nurture here can bless lives, foster belonging, and reflect God’s hope in the world.
Join us Sundays at 9:30 AM
You’ll find a welcoming community, enriching prayers, thoughtful sermons, and music that lifts the heart.
Find your people
Come in a sparkling dress or bare feet, with a steady life of faith or no faith at all, come hungry or with a dish to share - just come as you are to love and be loved.
From game nights to study groups, youth gatherings to contemplative prayer, and yes, the Parker Wine Walks, there’s a place for you to belong and grow.
Everyone’s welcome, no exceptions.
Braver & Beloved: Practical Skills for Bridging Difference
St. Matthew’s Partners with Braver angels
Braver Angels is an organization dedicated to building a foundation in order to engage across differences to help our community and world live into wholeness, defying the polarization of our times. This is an opportunity to live into our witness as a community dedicated to strong relationship and the dignity of all.
Join us for this series, at 11:15 am with coffee and snacks!
Sunday January 18: Introduction to Braver Angels. Following Coffee Hour we’ll have a presentation by Braver Angels instructors about the organization and hopes for partnering with St. Matthew’s.
February 22: Depolarizing Within. A workshop designed to help us develop strategies for engaging in politics without demonizing the other side. Reflecting on the ways we have internalized polarization.
March 22: Family and Politics. A workshop to help build skills to preserve important family bonds while still being true to your values and political beliefs.
April 19: Third workshop with Braver Angels. Topic will be determined based on the needs and interests expressed in our congregation.
